Research Professor, Lynch School of Education and Human Development, Boston CollegeFor over 20 years, Dr. Damian Bebell has helped teachers, school leaders, and policymakers use research and reflection to support teaching, learning, and technology initiatives. Applying emerging technologies to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting tools, he has designed and led numerous research and evaluation studies across the global K-12 education landscape.In 2010, Dr. Bebell co-edited and produced the world's first collection of peer-reviewed research on 1:1 student laptop environments, published as a special issue of the Journal of Technology, Learning, and Assessment. In 2015, he published the first empirical research studying 1:1 iPads in schools, in the Journal of Information Technology Education.Dr. Bebell is a frequent keynote speaker and the author of numerous articles and book chapters, as well as the book The School Mission Statement (Routledge Press), which explores how a school's local vision can illuminate, or limit, its reform efforts and its measurement of success
