About me
Dr. Maureen Brown Yoder has presented at educational technology conferences since the 1980s when educational technology was in its infancy. Dr. Yoder is a Professor Emerita at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A former classroom teacher, she has experience designing and teaching educational technology courses, and developing and directing one of the first fully online master’s degree programs for educators. She coined the term “Electronic Constructivism”, wrote the “Buyer’s Guide” for Learning and Leading With Technology, and has written blogs for ISTE’s EdTekHub. Her “Emerging Technologies” class constantly evolved, focusing on innovative and promising technologies. She received her doctorate from Boston University in Educational Media and Technology, her master’s in Computers in Education from Lesley University, and her bachelor¹s from George Washington University, in Washington, D.C.
